Unified Storage System
Coming at the end of June 2025, we're upgrading our storage system based on popular requests. This major enhancement will allow you to access the same chat and prompt history across all your devices seamlessly and introduces much easier sharing of prompts with other users.
What changes for you

Upgrade Process
Once the service is upgraded, we need to consolidate your prompts onto our new system. The first device that you use will receive the following prompt. Simply press Upgrade Now to complete the upgrade:

If you access BastionGPT on multiple devices, you will receive the following pop-up the first time that you access each of those devices:

Add this device’s data – merges into the cloud (may create duplicates).
Don’t Add – discard the local cache and show only your upgraded cloud copy.

Prompt Sharing
Thanks to the new unified storage upgrade, you can now share prompts with other users, and easily access prompts that have been shared with you:
Share individual prompts or an entire folder. Press the “Share Prompts” icon in the bottom‑right corner of your Prompt Library (right hand bar).
BastionGPT generates a sharing link you can send to any other BastionGPT customer.
The recipient clicks the link to add your shared items directly into their own library (they can keep, edit, or remove them at any time).
Sharing is scoped to prompts only. No chat content is ever included.
