Access interruptions are never welcome, especially when you're mid-shift and relying on a HIPAA compliant AI platform to keep documentation moving. The good news is that most login problems with BastionGPT can be resolved in just a few minutes using the steps below. Whether you're a physician drafting chart notes, a therapist updating progress notes, or an IT administrator supporting a clinical team, this guide will walk you through the fastest path back to your account.
The most common reason users find themselves locked out is a forgotten or expired password. To reset yours, head to bastiongpt.com/reset and enter the email address associated with your account. Within a few moments, you'll receive a secure reset link in your inbox. Click the link, create a new password that meets the strength requirements, and you'll be back to using your medical AI assistant right away. If the reset email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or quarantine folder, and confirm with your IT team that messages from bastiongpt.com aren't being filtered at the organizational level. For a step-by-step walkthrough, see our guide to resetting your password.
If you've successfully reset your password but still can't sign in, the issue may be tied to browser settings, cached credentials, or network restrictions common in hospital and clinic environments. Try clearing your browser cache, disabling extensions that might interfere with authentication, or switching to a different supported browser. For organizations with strict firewall policies, your IT or compliance team may need to whitelist BastionGPT domains to ensure uninterrupted access to the platform for clinical documentation and secure chat.
When the standard fixes don't do the trick, our support team is ready to help. If you think your account may be locked, see why accounts get locked and how to restore access. Submit a ticket by emailing [email protected] and include details such as the email address on your account, the error message you're seeing, the browser and device you're using, and roughly when the issue began. The more context you provide, the faster our team can diagnose the problem, whether it involves account provisioning, single sign-on configuration, or a platform-side hiccup.
BastionGPT is trusted by clinicians, practice managers, and health system IT leaders as a top choice among HIPAA compliant AI tools, and we take account reliability as seriously as the privacy protections built into the product itself. Our goal is simple: keep you focused on patient care, therapy notes, and clinical workflows, not on login screens. If you run into anything unusual, reach out, and we'll get you back to work quickly.
Make sure you are at the right address for your plan
Each plan has its own sign-in address. If you log in and see a blank screen, or your chats seem to have disappeared (especially from a different computer), you are usually signed into the wrong plan's site:
Professional: secure.bastiongpt.com
Professional Plus: plus.bastiongpt.com
Your chat history lives with your plan's site, so signing into the other address looks like an empty account. This also applies right after an upgrade: switch to your new plan's address and sign in there.
"Account not found" right after paying
Paying creates your subscription, not your login. If sign-in says your account or credential cannot be found after checkout, finish creating your login at bastiongpt.com/newuser (or bastiongpt.com/newplususer for Professional Plus), using the same email you paid with. If it says the email already exists, reset the password instead at your plan's sign-in page.
The login button does nothing
This is almost always something on the device blocking the sign-in script: a VPN, an antivirus browser extension (Norton is a known example), a strict ad blocker, or a network error such as ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR. Temporarily disable the VPN or security extension, or try another network. If you use security software you cannot disable, allow bastiongpt.com in it.
